Dario tigris

Lived in the AA fishroom before. (Updated 9 July 2023)

A really small and mostly dull fish. However - when the male gets in the mood, it gets fabulously beautiful, with clear vertical bands, black-and-white on the foremost half of its body, red-and-white at the back. Only recently described by science. Fuzzy eater.

A snail-eating dwarf pufferfish. A lot of fun to see stalking around the tank. They do need those snail, so keep them in supply. (Not hard to do, see here.)
