This is a perfect fish for a planted nano tank. It eats anything that's small enough, stays really small and is - upon close inspection - rather beautiful. They also display interesting behaviour: they are very curious little fish, always observing and sometimes stalking each other and their tank mates. Also they make audible sounds when they advertise their aggression or their readiness to spawn. The males build a bubble nest in floating vegetation. For this to happen, the tank should be warm, and there should be no current. The fry will hatch in neutral ph, but are extremely tiny and will require infusoria to eat.
